This BMW M Motorsport endurance-spec transmission oil cooler is a complete OEM retrofit kit engineered to significantly improve transmission thermal management under sustained high-load and endurance racing conditions.
 
The kit includes the transmission oil cooler assembly, motorsport-grade braided steel oil lines with AN fittings, mounting brackets, and all required fixings to replace the standard transmission oil cooling system. Designed as a direct retrofit, the system installs without fabrication on applicable platforms while offering increased durability and improved resistance to pressure and heat compared to standard rubber hose assemblies.
 
Originally developed and supplied by BMW Motorsport as an optional endurance upgrade, this specification was utilised on the F87 M2 CS Racing and F82 M4 GT4, where prolonged track operation and elevated drivetrain temperatures necessitated higher cooling efficiency and improved system robustness.
 
By increasing heat rejection and stabilising transmission oil temperatures, this upgrade reduces thermal stress, minimises oil breakdown, and maintains consistent transmission performance during extended track sessions. While engineered for competition use, the kit is also suitable for high-performance road vehicles and track-day cars requiring enhanced transmission cooling and reliability.
