It is a piece made 100% in carbon fibre prepreg and cured in autoclave. The exterior finish comes primed and ready-to-paint, even we offer the possibility of visible carbon fibre finish 2×2 weave and UV varnished.
 
OEM look! The exterior side respects the original shape of the CSL trunk, while inner side has been modified to make it more appealing to eye, thus installation could be done with or without interior trim panel.

Yes, it can be installed in E46 coupe. Not for E46 compact or sedan
Does it require important modifications in vehicle?
No, boot lid is interchangeable with genuine one and all M3 accessories are compatible except number plate lights, that are specific for CSL
TUV/ ABE available?
Not at the moment, we are working to offer this possibility in near future. Anyway, most countries allow to drive without this.
