Forged composite is a type of carbon fiber SMC material composed of small pieces of carbon fiber composite material that are pressed into shape as the resin cures.
The fibers contain intertwined and folded sheets of carbon atoms aligned with the length of the fiber where the intertwining improves the fiber strength.

Carbon or Kevlar
Forged Carbon
 
Weight: approx. TBC
Carbon is the lightest option.
 
Process: Autoclave (Prepreg).
